U.S. Motors' 3111 Series AC tachometer is a medium accuracy, bearingless, direct mount tachometer. Output is 45 or 90 volts nominal per 1000 rpm. The tachometer generator is furnished in a cast aluminum housing which is flange mounted and rabbet fitted to the commutator end shield of the motor.

The DC tachometer is a medium accuracy, tachometer for speed indicating and/or speed regulating applications. Output is available in 50 or 100 volts DC per 1000 rpm. The tachometer generator is furnished in a steel housing which is flange mounted and rabbet fitted to an adapter bracket on the motor.
