GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The Rangemaster 2 is a master controller designed to provide a common speed signal simultaneously control the speed of up to 6 Pacemaster drives (20 with the optional PC board). The speed reference can be from an operator panel-mounted potentiometer, remote potentiometer, or external voltage or current source.

The Rangemaster 2 reference outputs are not isolated. Isolation must be provided at the drive by adding the proper Isolated Voltage Follower option to the drive or by the addition of the 6-Channel Isolation PC Board to the system.

Relay contacts and output terminals are provided to interface drive equipment magnetics with the Rangemaster 2 for proper start/stop operation. Additional relay contacts, for controlling up to 20 drives, are available by adding the optional Relay PC Board to the Rangemaster 2 chassis model.

• Adjustable gain to scale the full speed reference to match the connected drives.
• Remote feedback amplifier for increased reliability.
• Start/Stop relay contacts for up to 6 drives (expandable to 20 drives with optional PC boards).
• Accepts optional plug-in cards to follow a current or voltage input signal.
