Eclipse is a high performance, general purpose, digital adjustable frequency AC drive control that operates directly from 50/60 HZ plant power. The Eclipse produces an adjustable frequency, adjustable voltage, three phase output using state of the art PWM technology: Conventional fixed speed squirrel cage induction, synchronous, or permanent magnet AC motors can be used with the Eclipse to produce an adjustable speed AC drive.

The heart of the Eclipse is a powerful 16-bit 80C196 micro controller by Intel, that is utilized to maintain full and precise control over the entire operation range. In concert with the 80C196 micro controller is an on board Digital Signal processor (DSP) chip that is dedicated to the generation of the PWM output wave form. Together these two components help to make Eclipse the most advanced Digital AC Drive control in the world market.
