PERFORMANCE
BENEFITS
Cleveland Motion Controls
specializes in the design and application of industrial motion controls
and systems. The DigiMaster 2000 provides versatile motion control
solutions for converting incoming AC line voltage to adjustable DC
voltage, cost-effectively controlling speed and current of wound-field
DC motors. The DigiMaster 2000 is ideal for an extremely wide range of
industrial applications. It is rated from 1-1750 HP (UL rating up to 300
HP) with a typical 100:1 speed control range with feedback option.
The DigiMaster 2000 is fully-digital,
providing high response, high performance 3-phase operation. It is also
fully-software-configurable, enabling all regulation and control
functions to be easily configured to exact user parameters and
requirements. In addition, the DigiMaster 2000 provides easy
communication with other CMC controllers, as well as master/slave
control.

DESIGN
FEATURES
The DigiMaster 2000
includes numerous standard built-in design features. For instance, it is
controlled by a high-speed 16-bit microprocessor and available in
regenerative and non-regenerative designs. Users also have their choice
of speed feedback-armature voltage, analog tachometer, or optical
encoder. There is an auto-tuning feature for armature current and field
current control loops.
DigiMaster 2000 incorporates an
easy-to-use 16 character display/keypad unit (HMI) for editing and
viewing all drive parameters, monitoring operational displays and for
monitoring diagnostic displays. DigiMaster 2000 is designed to be easily
customized for exact user requirements with various options.
Standard option cards are available for
customizing speed feedback and drive communication, and all adjustments
are either accessible by serial link or by on-board Human Machine
Interface. There are also two built-in ports (RS-232 and RS-422),
allowing the drive to easily communicate with other controllers or a
host computer for advanced communications, to be configured remotely,
and to permit master/slave operation.
High
performance digital DC drive, providing solutions for stand-alone
applications to coordinated drive systems.
