Rotary Incremental Encoder: Shaft Type DT20   The new Data Tech DT20 is the latest addition to the Optecom line. It is designed for applications where a rugged industrial encoder is required at a low price. The DT20 will withstand the needs of a machine tool or robotics application yet it is priced to be used in many less harsh applications as well. This unit is physically interchangeable with competitors models, but with some exceptional features.

We have mechanically captured and pre-loaded the bearings to insure they will not move under load, as can be the case with glued in bearings. Excellent bearing life with low starting torque and sealed to IP65 standards. Resolution up to 2500 lines.

The DT20 is available up to 24 volts with an operating frequency of up to 200 kHz. Zero markets and line drivers available operating to the full frequency. RS422 compatible with 2631 series output mode.
