Application
Isolation Transformer defined: A transformer which isolates the
primary circuit from the secondary circuit. Designed for indoor installation in
hotels, schools, factories, industrial and commercial buildings where a reliable
power source is required for lighting and other low voltage equipment and
machinery.
Features
- Using Computer Aided Designs (CAD) our engineers have created a range of
highly efficient transformers having long trouble-free life with reduced
weight, size and cost.
- Ventilated openings in the enclosure are coordinated with the cooling
ducts in the coils to ensure proper natural circulation of air for long life
and minimum losses.
- General purpose indoor ventilated steel enclosure (Nema-1 or CSA-1)
suitable for dry locations. After fabrication, the enclosure is finished in
ASA61 gray powder paint suitable for most industrial and commercial
installations.
- Transformers up to 75KVA may be readily hung on H-columns, walls, shelves
or floor mounted to suite each typical installation. Most units have lifting
lugs, conduit knockouts and removable front and back covers for easy access
to terminals.
- Transformers 112˝KVA and larger are supplied with brackets suitable for
floor or platform mounting only.
- Transformer terminations rated below 330A are supplied with suitable
hardware and lugs for cable connection. Terminations above 330A are supplied
with termination pads.
- Class 220 Insulation
- 150oC Temperature Rise
- Primary Taps ±2˝% & ±5% (±5% only on 3KVA - 15KVA)
